# 11004: Business Registration Validation Failed.

## Description

This error occurs when the Business Registration Number in your linked profile or registration does not meet validation requirements. Use EIN or DUNS as the registration authority and provide a valid 9-digit identifier that matches the registered business before you resubmit.

### Possible causes

* The linked profile or registration uses a business registration authority other than EIN or DUNS.
* The Business Registration Number is invalid, incorrectly formatted, or not associated with the registered business.
* The number includes extra characters, spaces, or symbols.

### Possible solutions

* Update the linked Business Profile or registration to use EIN or DUNS as the business registration authority where required for Voice Integrity or CNAM.
* Enter the Business Registration Number exactly as issued to the business. Use a valid 9-digit value and remove spaces or special characters.
* Confirm that the legal business name and registration number in the profile match the registered business details before you submit again.
* If the Customer Profile was rejected, review the rejection reason, correct the business information, and resubmit the profile or registration.
