# 30472: Toll Free verification rejection - Could not verify Business

## Description

This error means your Toll-Free Verification submission was rejected because the business in the submission could not be verified. As of January 31, 2024, unverified or pending Toll-Free numbers are blocked from sending messages to the US and Canada until verification is approved. The review checks the business sending messages, the use case, sample content, web presence, opt-in or consent flow, and related terms and privacy policy information.

### Possible causes

* The business name, address, or other submitted business details could not be independently confirmed.
* One or more required business fields are inaccurate, inconsistent, or incomplete, including `BusinessName`, `BusinessStreetAddress`, `BusinessCity`, `BusinessStateProvinceRegion`, `BusinessPostalCode`, `BusinessCountry`, `BusinessContactFirstName`, `BusinessContactLastName`, `BusinessContactEmail`, `BusinessContactPhone`, or `BusinessWebsite`.
* The website or online presence does not provide enough public information to validate the business, or the URL does not clearly reflect the business name or branding.
* If you are an ISV, the submission may include the ISV's contact details instead of the end business information.

### Possible solutions

* Confirm that the submission identifies the end business that manages the opt-in and has the consumer relationship. If you are an ISV, submit the end business information instead of your own business details.
* Review and correct all business information so it matches the business being verified and its public presence, including `BusinessName`, `BusinessStreetAddress`, `BusinessCity`, `BusinessStateProvinceRegion`, `BusinessPostalCode`, `BusinessCountry`, `BusinessContactFirstName`, `BusinessContactLastName`, `BusinessContactEmail`, `BusinessContactPhone`, and `BusinessWebsite`.
* Make sure the business website is live, publicly accessible, and clearly branded with the business name, logo, and identifying information. If you use a third-party platform, use a custom domain or make the business branding prominent.
* If the verification response includes `edit_allowed` as `true`, correct the rejected submission and resubmit it before the `edit_expiration` timestamp. If the request is no longer editable, create a new verification request.
