# 30483: Toll Free verification rejection - Contact must be a business representative

## Description

Your Toll-Free verification request was rejected because the business contact on the submission does not appear to be a real person authorized to represent the business. Messaging traffic on the Toll-Free number is blocked until the number is verified.

### Possible causes

* `businessContactFirstName` and `businessContactLastName` do not identify a real person for the business or organization using the Toll-Free number.
* You entered a generic role or title, such as Admin or Support, instead of an authorized business representative.
* You submitted an incomplete contact name, such as a partial name or a missing first or last name.

### Possible solutions

* Update `businessContactFirstName` and `businessContactLastName` with the full first and last name of a real person who is authorized to represent the business using the Toll-Free number.
* Make sure the contact details you submit belong to that business representative, including `businessContactEmail` and `businessContactPhone`. Format `businessContactPhone` in `E.164`.
* If the request is eligible for resubmission, correct the contact information and resubmit it from the Regulatory Information tab in Console, or update the verification request through the Toll-Free Verification API.
