# 30715: Vetting Token Not Allowed for Sole Proprietor Brands

Log Type: APPLICATION

Log Level: ERROR

## Description

You receive this error when you submit a Campaign Verify token for an A2P 10DLC Brand with `brand_type` set to `SOLE_PROPRIETOR`. Sole Proprietor Brands are not eligible for vetting tokens and must be registered without an external brand vetting step.

### Possible causes

* You provided a vetting token while creating or updating a Sole Proprietor Brand.
* You created the Brand as `SOLE_PROPRIETOR`, then tried to associate a Campaign Verify token through the Vettings subresource.
* The business was registered in the Sole Proprietor flow even though it has a U.S. EIN or Canadian Business Number and should use the Standard or Low-Volume Standard onboarding flow instead.

### Possible solutions

* Remove the vetting token from the request and register the Sole Proprietor Brand without external vetting.
* Confirm that the Brand is intended to be a true Sole Proprietor registration before you proceed. Sole Proprietor registration is only for businesses in the United States or Canada that do not have a Tax ID.
* If the business has a Tax ID or needs to submit a Campaign Verify token, restart registration using the Standard or Low-Volume Standard onboarding flow. If the business is a 527 political organization, provide the Campaign Verify token during that eligible A2P 10DLC registration flow.
