30882: Campaign vetting rejection - Terms & Conditions
MESSAGING
ERROR
Your campaign submission was rejected because the terms and conditions associated with the campaign do not meet A2P 10DLC review requirements. This can include campaigns whose use case conflicts with prohibited third-party marketing rules.
- Your campaign registration request does not include a
TermsAndConditionsUrl. This field is required for all new A2P 10DLC campaign submissions. - Your campaign involves affiliate marketing or another third-party lead generation or marketing use case. These use cases are forbidden for SMS and MMS in the United States and Canada.
- Your terms and conditions or related policy language indicate that consumer data or message opt-in information is shared, sold, or bought by third parties or affiliates. Twilio treats that as noncompliant. (help.twilio.com)
- Your campaign does not show direct, campaign-specific consumer consent. For A2P 10DLC, consent cannot be obscured in general terms and conditions or bundled into another agreement. (help.twilio.com)
- Your campaign use case conflicts with A2P 10DLC campaign approval requirements or Twilio's Messaging Policy. (help.twilio.com)
- Add a
TermsAndConditionsUrlto your campaign registration request. The URL must be publicly accessible, not behind a login, and point to terms and conditions relevant to your registered brand. - Update your terms and conditions and consent flow so end users give consent directly to your brand and mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For more information, see A2P 10DLC campaign approval requirements.
- If your campaign uses a prohibited use case, such as affiliate marketing or third-party lead generation, resubmitting will not resolve the rejection. Remove the prohibited use case before submitting another campaign registration. For details, see Forbidden message categories for SMS and MMS in the US and Canada.
- After you update the terms and conditions and consent flow, resubmit the campaign for review in Console or retry the campaign submission through the API.
- If you believe the rejection was made in error, contact Twilio Support.
