## Description

You attempted to onboard from a restricted geographic region, or used an IP address VPN, or proxies flagged for malicious activity.

### Possible causes

* You submitted your onboarding request while connected to a commercial VPN, Tor browser, or proxy server hidden behind a masked IP address.
* Twilio detected that the onboarding attempt originated from a sanctioned, restricted, or unauthorized geographic region.
* Twilio flagged the specific IP address used to submit the form as one that was previously linked to malicious bot activity, credential stuffing, or scraping.

### Possible solutions

* Complete the onboarding application on a direct business or residential Internet connection.
