# Email Activity

* To gain access to the Email Activity Feed API, purchase additional email activity history.
  * To purchase additional history, go to **Account Details** > [**Your Products**][products] > **Add-ons** in the Twilio SendGrid console.
* To query all of your stored messages, query individual messages, and download a CSV with data about the stored messages, use the Email Activity API.

## Rate limits

Email Activity API requests are rate limited to ensure consistent performance across all customers.

The current limit is 6 requests per minute.

If your integration exceeds this limit, the API returns an HTTP `429 too many requests` response. When this occurs, reduce the frequency of your requests and retry after a short delay.
